Explore expressive line quality and subtle tonal + value scales as you create compositions from examples in nature. Enjoy the loose style and new directions your drawing/paintings may take you with a limited pallet of charcoal, water-soluble pencils, pastel chalk and white gesso . We will work from photos as inspiration and learn how white gesso can be a simple yet expansive addition in your tool kit.

Basic instruction in creating value with charcoal, pencils and paint, composition and lots of encouragement to see in new ways and play :)
All skill levels welcome.
