Fluorescent Purple
Fluorescent Purple
This is the real deal, very bright and brilliant synthetic fluorescent purple. Daylight fluorescent pigments have a bright, glowing appearance and are particularly brilliant pigments which already have a striking signal effect in normal daylight and can be stimulated to fluoresce with UV light. Their vividness can be increased by applications over a white ground.
This is one of our very favorite paints, it always gets “oohs” and “awes” whenever it’s tested in our shop. Think raspberry beret mixed juicy blueberry and you’ve got this color nailed. It lends a pop and glow to any color it’s mixed with.
Standard 1/2 pan fits our enamel travel tins.
Chemical description: Triazine-toluene sulfonamide-paraformaldehyde polycondensation resin with synthetic coloring matter.
Lightfastness: Fluorescent pigments are more fugitive than conventional pigments. They are stable to indoor light or outdoor conditions other than direct sunlight. By exposure to outdoor sunlight color will change, whereby the degree fading is depending on following factors: - Color of the pigment - Pigment loading and thickness of the end product. The higher the pigment loading and thickness, the better the lightfastness. - Type of binder polymer - Intensity and angle of the incident sunlight
