Cherry Black

For a long time, chars of different kinds of fruit seeds have been used as pigments. Cherry black’s pigment process of carbonization requires a constant high temperature without any oxygenation. The homogenous structure of the carbon skeleton determines the quality of the black pigment: The more even the composition of the original material, the better the structure of the carbonized product.
This paint color is a velvety dark, deep rick black. When curing, it rises like bread, and then settles perfectly in the pan. It sparkles, just slightly, and calls to you like a moon-less night.
Standard 1/2 pans fit our Italian watercolor boxes and our enamel travel tins.
