Learn how to create stamps using easy-to-carve SoftKut blocks. We will use water-soluble, non-toxic printing ink, which makes clean-up easier. We will be creating prints using black ink, but inks are available in many colors for you to explore at home! The stamps that you make can be printed repeatedly and can be used to stamp over your watercolors or mixed-media paintings.

Relief printmaking is a versatile art form available to artists of all skill levels. Eneida will teach you basic skills to assist you in planning, carving, and printing and offer great tips to make this wonderful art form enjoyable!

No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided and all levels are welcome!

Eneida is originally from Costa Rica and now resides and paints in Santa Fe. You can find her at her booth at the Railyard Artisans Market, where she welcomes locals and visitors and offers her beautiful paintings for sale. Eneida has 27 years of experience teaching art at a private middle school in Bethesda, Maryland, as well as private lessons for adults. She believes that everyone can develop an artistic practice and encourages the child within to find joy in connecting with and translating the abundant beauty of nature.
