Learn how to prepare a canvas from start to finish. Cynthia Young will show you the steps for assembling, stretching and priming a canvas for your paintings to come. This is a valuable tool to add to your wheelhouse. You will be able to make any custom size pieces for your future projects. This will be a fun and informative class for anyone wanting to make something from scratch, to see their efforts from beginning to end. Students will create a beautiful canvas that is gessoed and ready to paint!

Cynthia is an oil painter with a BFA in painting currently living and creating in Santa Fe. She has experience painting every subject matter with a focus on landscapes and portraits.
