Art as Play: Drawing games with watercolor, ink, and collage with Eleanor Ryburn 6/15/24
Art as Play: Drawing games with watercolor, ink, and collage with Eleanor Ryburn 6/15/24
Have you ever marbled paper with ink? Drawn with your eyes closed? Turned a mistake into something unexpected and beautiful? Using watercolor, sumi ink, graphite, beeswax crayons, and collage; we’ll dive into a whole lineup of drawing games in order to play and create outside of our typical patterns. Towards the end of class, we will take time to polish and finesse one of our pieces born from this session of play. Throughout this workshop we will discuss different artists who use play as part of their artistic process. All skill levels are encouraged to attend and all materials are provided.
